Tourists from 168 countries visited Varna in the first 9 months of the 2021 year
Modern spa centers, attractive attractions and alternative types of tourism have put Varna on the world map for year-round tourism. For years, specialists and representatives of the tourism industry in Varna and neighbouring resorts have united, discussed and worked together to attract tourists during the four seasons of the year. Together they looked for opportunities for high quality products and new alternative forms of tourism.
Our popular seaside capital, which has held the title of resort town for a century and attracts tourists from all over the world, is desirable not only in summer, but also in the three seasons that follow – autumn, winter and spring. There are not 10, but many more reasons to go to Varna at any time.
Some like its architecture, others say it is their favourite destination because of the climate, the history, the tourist attractions, the iconic cultural, congress, sports, culinary and all kinds of offers and events – some of them well established on the national scene, while others have long crossed the borders not only of Bulgaria and Europe, but have reached the farthest points of the world. As proof of these words come the figures for the first 9 months of this year.
Varna was visited by tourists from almost all over the world – it had guests from 168 nationalities,
according to the Unified Tourist Information System.
